The Sabi Sand, Timbavati and adjacent Reserves are made up of a number of privately owned game farms, many of whom manage commercially active safari operations. These farms are not fenced off from one another and as such allow animals to move freely across the whole reserve and in and out of the Kruger National Park which is the unfenced eastern border of these reserves.
