From Cape Town International Airport
Take the N2 highway in the direction of Stellenbosch / Somerset West. Proceed on the N2 until Exit 33, (Stellenbosch / Baden Powell Drive turn off) turn left and continue on the R310 to the t-junction. At the t-junction turn right, after approx 2.5km, you will reach a set of traffic lights, continue straight over, passing Distell on the right. At the next set of traffic lights at the Shell Garage, turn right into Dorp Street. Continue up Dorp Street until you get to Drostdy Street. Turn left into Drostdy Street and then immediately turn left again into Church Street which is a one-way. Drive up to the stop sign, then across Ryneveld Street and d’Ouwe Werf is on the right-hand side of the next block, about half-way down (30 Church Street).
Directions From The N1
Take Exit 47 (Stellenbosch) off the N1. Turn right onto the R44 and continue in the direction of Stellenbosch. Once you reach Stellenbosch, proceed over the Bird Street intersection, until you reach the Dorp Street intersection at the traffic lights on the R44. Turn left into Dorp Street. Proceed up Dorp Street, you will pass the two mini traffic circles (small, flat circle on the road), until you get to Drostdy Street. Turn left into Drostdy Street and then immediately turn left again into Church Street which is a one-way. Drive up to the stop sign, then across Ryneveld Street and d’Ouwe Werf is on the right-hand side of the next block, about half-way down the block (30 Church Street).

The months of the year fall into the seasons as follows:
December to February - Summer, with average maximum temperatures of 27 degrees Celsius.
March to May - Autumn with pleasant maximum temperatures of around 22 degrees Celsius on average.
June to August - Winter wet, cool days with the mercury seldom falling below 7 degrees Celsius and reaching an average high of 18 - 20 degrees Celsius some days.
September to November - Spring high pollen counts make this a difficult time for hay fever sufferers but the weather is a fresh blend of cool and ever-warmer days, and a maximum temperature average of up to 25 degrees Celsius towards the end of the season.
