From Johannesburg International Airport now O.R. TAMBO AIRPORT - Take R21 to Pretoria.
Head north on the N1 towards the N4 Toll Road
Take the N4 Toll road north west towards Rustenburg, Swartruggens, Groot Marico and Zeerust
Once in Zeerust turn right at the fourth stop street into President Street. There is a signpost on the left that says “ Madikwe Game Reserve/Gaborone” and a First National Bank on the corner to the right
Follow the R49 towards the reserve for approximately 97km
The first entrance to the reserve is Abjaterskop gate
Pass that gate and enter at the next gate – Wonderboom Gate exactly 7km from the first gate

Motswiri Safari lodge offers some of the best views in Madikwe as well as the feeling of tranquility given by the mature trees (mostly Leadwoods) under which the main building and 5 luxury bush villas nestle. This intimate homely setting offers complete privacy and overlooks a waterhole frequented by elephant families and other big game.

Motswiri offers true 5 star accommodation, with each bush villa offering stunning views from private decks and multiple-slider bedrooms and bathrooms. Add double-sided fireplaces, air conditioning/ceiling fans stunning bathrooms and an outdoor rock shower and you will have a bush experience second to none. Each villa has a wrap around wooden deck, designed to blend the interiors creating the blend of space and the bush utilising the retractable doors and windows.
Enjoy the rim-flow pool overlooking the waterhole, have a cocktail under the motswiri trees (Leadwoods in Tswana) on the main deck or just while away the day in the outside lounge and bar area occasionally mustering up the energy to view the game at the watering hole.

Fine cuisine served in the dining room, under the leadwoods or around a roaring fire in the boma, washed down with fine wines from our well stocked cellar ends each spectacular day. Our staff offer personal service in a relaxed but professional manner and the twice daily game drives are conducted by the highly trained and experienced lodge manager whose superb knowledge is imparted in the manner best suited to the bush knowledge of the guests on specially designed Landcruiser game viewing vehicles affording you close up encounters.

Motswiri offers the option of either individual bookings or exclusive use of the lodge. The lodge is ideal for corporate, family/friend groups of up to 10 who do not wish to share the facilities with outsiders. Itineraries and daily events can be tailored to meet your or your group's specific needs. Special arrangements can be made for up to 8 guests to be accommodated in separate rooms should this be more acceptable for corporate groups.
